PLUM PINK STAR SAPPHIRE RING 16 CT! DIAMOND HALO! *MOVIESTAR QUALITY*

$42,000.00

*HUGE* 16.56 CARAT NATURAL COLOR-CHANGE PINK - PLUM STAR SAPPHIRE

20-DIAMOND HALO (1.64 TCW)

SOLID PLATINUM BAND & SETTING WITH 18K YELLOW GOLD SURROUND

While we have innumerable rare & unique items, particularly one-of-a-kind paintings & drawings by Old Master artists with no copies, anywhere, I was thinking the other day about what the RAREST item in the shop might be as we go live on the internet for *the first time in history* this month (January 2026), and after extensive Google searches & dealer/competitor searches, I think it might well be this AMAZING STAR SAPPHIRE RING!

All the searches I’ve made (which I encourage you to replicate with Google!), produced only 2 to 3 stones IN THE WORLD of the amazing pink to plum color of this star sapphire, similar carat size, similar quality - AND NOT A ONE WAS OF SUPERIOR QUALITY, AND ALL WERE PRICED HIGHER (!!) - FROM $50,000 TO $75,000!

Thus, for OUR FINER STONE at only $42,000 —— AND THE FINEST SETTING OF ANY OTHER RING CURRENTLY ON OFFER BY OTHERS (PLATINUM & 18K GOLD WITH PREMIUM DIAMONDS) —— we are deeply undercutting the market, and unlike any of them, we are still open to considering your offers! :-)

Moreover, if you look at our ONLY competitors on the World Wide Web, you will find that NONE OF THEM SHOWS YOU A PICTURE WITH THE STAR SHOWING ON THE SAPPHIRE!

And we haven’t even uploaded our PROFESSIONAL PHOTOS, yet, which are due in FEBRUARY 2026!

Granted, it is VERY HARD TO CAPTURE THE STAR ON CAMERA!! It requires a direct light source, and is very temperamental (usually sunlight, sometimes the right artificial light), and even when you see it with your EYES, the eye of the camera is an entirely different thing! But we put in those extra hours to SHOW YOU THE STAR! :-)

Other sellers apparently want you to take it on TRUST!!! :-0

For $60,000!!!

The only other gallery to SHOW THE STAR is the NOLA *** Rau Gallery *** on a much larger 50-carat stone. So, if you’d like to buy their **** $600,000 ring ****, you may do so instead of purchasing an extra beach condo for your wife. =) Besides, they are almost certainly cousins on my Dad’s side, so I am happy to promote sales for my relatives, no matter how distant. :-)

Incidentally, the reason the star is hard to capture has to do with the physics of refraction, combined with the geometry of the stone: the refraction of light is internal to the stone, while today’s autofocus digital cameras use LiDAR & other range-detectors that hit the surface of the stone for distance focusing. Since the star is NOT on the surface of the stone, the camera can either capture a clear picture of the stone surface (blurring the star), or a somewhat clear (because it’s seeing through the stone matrix) picture of the internally-generated star (much more difficult to make it focus upon, without manual focus control), blurring the gem’s surface in the process. To capture both the actual gem’s surface & the internal star, therefore, requires a dual-exposure image, OR an extremely proficient professional with a Hasselblad & manual focus, OR the HUMAN EYE, sans photo! :-)

In any event, our star is PROVEN for you in our photos here listed, with the caveat that NATURAL STAR SAPPHIRES are always temperamental, and you will find days when it shows more or less, depending. Synthetic star sapphires, are of course, cheap trash, and should readily show their stars, at all time, by artifice. But, that is not our market, here.

Last, but not least, be aware that some - but not all - sapphires of this type exhibit DRAMATIC color changes (DICHROIC) in different lighting regimes (artificial to natural), and when they do, it is considered HIGHLY DESIRABLE (as with Alexandrite).

THIS IS ONE OF THOSE EXTREMELY RARE STONES: IT SHOWS PINK PART OF THE TIME, AND PURPLE (PLUM) PART OF THE TIME!

THIS MEANS YOU ARE GETTING THE BEST OF ALL RARITIES IN A SAPPHIRE!!

DICHROIC = NATURAL COLOR-CHANGE + ASTERISM = NATURAL STAR PATTERN!!

DO NOT MISS THIS RARE CHANCE!!

BUY IT NOW, OR MAKE YOUR OFFER, TODAY! :-)

PLEASE NOTE: THIS STONE (AS WITH ALL OUR ITEMS) IS NOT LISTED ANYWHERE ELSE!!

EXCLUSIVELY AVAILABLE ON OUR WEBSITE!

THE STORY:

My father started me on STAR SAPPHIRES when I was about 6 years-old. They were his favorite stone. We used to frequent gem shows like others frequent McDonald’s. By the time I was 12 years-old, I must’ve seen 5,000 star sapphires.

Fast-forward some 20 years, in a gallery in L.A., I see this beauty on consignment from a woman of means in Hong Kong - the most beautiful pink body color, color-change star sapphire I’ve ever seeen in my life —— I, the child of the STAR SAPPHIRE KING!

I had to have it, and it wasn’t cheap!

Now, after some years of the joy it gave my partner at the finest functions, it’s free for you to wow others with!

Nota Bene:

We can size this ring to almost any size (within reason) that you require, at no charge (a $100-$500+ value, depending).
